The role

As part of the SwipeGuide Growth Circle, the Market Development Representative (Enterprise) is helping us sell to the largest manufacturers and working with Fortune 500 caliber clients across the globe. We are looking for an associate passionate for success, and with a strong self-starting mentality, a quick and analytical mind that loves to tackle challenges. In this position, you will be responsible for driving strategic enterprise sales.

As a Market Development Representative (Enterprise), your responsibilities will be to identify new sales qualified leads (SQLs) through account-based prospecting and to help generate sales at large enterprise clients. You will work in a team of 5, with a sales director responsible for the team. Key verticals for SwipeGuide are enterprise food and beverage manufacturing companies, and manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the food and allied industries.

In one sentence: Drive new business customer acquisition from beginning to successful handover to senior sales executives, or to a successful closing of the deal on certain occasions. Your challenge will be to deliver on a monthly quota MQLs and SQLs, consistently.

  • Outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, phone & email, and other social channels.
  • Engage with inbound sales leads and diagnose their fit. 
  • Qualify all sales leads based on fit (market segments, product strengths, innovation stage).
  • Mature MQLs together with the Marketing team through targeted Account-based Marketing and Upselling campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Growth team on planning and executing strategic Account-based strategies. 
  • Plan and execute discovery calls; handle objections; cover demo meetings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop customer relationships by working with leads at around 100 accounts in Global2000.
  • Nurture sales qualified leads (SQLs) to close deals; Identify key contacts across multiple departments.
  • Create and manage relationships with our customers by demonstrating value as a sparring partner on the topic of digital transformations and cloud software.


    Essential attributes to become our next Enterprise Sales Development Representative:

    • Has 1+ years prior (inside) sales experience (within the software or technology industry, preferably B2B).
    • Understands the world of customer experience & digital transformations. Or you’re a quick learner and know to ask the questions to get the relevant info.
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry or familiarity with industry 4.0.
    • Has a high level of initiative, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Can show outstanding performance under or without pressure and deadlines.
    • Has a track record of meeting & exceeding targets.
    • Can write and speak English at near-native level, or is native in French or German.

    Nice-to-have attributes:

    • Experience in enterprise sales.
    • Experience working with CRM tools (especially Hubspot).
    • Additional fluency in other languages is a bonus (especially Spanish and Italian).
    • Familiarity with Winning by Design.
